Amritsar: Makka of Sikhs

Amritsar is located in the northwestern part of Punjab and borders Pakistan. It’s known for its famous Golden Temple as well as several other historical sites such as Jallianwala Bagh and Durgiana Mandir. The city also serves as a major commercial hub with many industries based here including textiles, chemicals, food processing, electronics manufacturing etc.

Pathankot

Pathankot is a city in the Indian state of Punjab. It has an area of around 5,000 square kilometers and a population of approximately 1 million people. The main towns and villages that make up Pathankot are Bhoa, Dhar Kalan, Dhariwal, Fatehgarh Churian, Gurdaspur, Jammu Tawi Railway Station and Sujanpur. Pathankot is famous for its rich cultural heritage as well as being home to many historical monuments such as Ranjit Sagar Dam.

Gurdaspur

Gurdaspur lies on Indo-Pakistani border towards north eastern corner of Indian state Punjab bordering Himachal Pradesh & Jammu Kashmir states too .It’s named after Mahant Guriya Ji who founded town back 16th century AD ,it houses some ancient temples dedicated Lord Shiva ,Vishnu& Goddess Kali Mata apart from few gurudwaras namely Sachkhand Nanaksar Thath Isher Darbar ,Dera Baba Nanak ji among others .The place offers spectacular views Himalayan ranges nearby making it favorite spot amongst tourists visiting there every year .

Tarn Taran Sahib:

The district of Punjab is home to the city of Tarn Taran Sahib, which has a long and rich history. It was founded in 1590 by Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the fifth Sikh guru. This area is known for its religious significance as it contains many important gurudwaras such as Gurdwara Baba Atal Rai and Gurdwara Chhevin Patshahi.

There are also several historical monuments located here including Akal Takht, Shaheedganj Gurudwara, and Bhai Lalo ka Talab. In addition to this cultural heritage, there are also plenty of recreational activities available in Tarn Taran Sahib such as bird watching at Harike Wetland or visiting nearby villages like Khadoor Sahib.

Bathinda: Asia’s Biggest Railway Junction

Bathinda lies in south central Punjab near the border with Haryana State. It’s known for being an important center for Sikhism due to its proximity to Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Gurudwara (the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh). Other attractions include Qila Mubarak fort complex built by Mughal emperor Akbar; Rose Garden; Zoological Park; Chhoti Cattle Farm etc.

Fatehgarh Sahib: Sikh Historical Place

Fatehgarh Sahib lies on the banks of river Sutlej in western Punjab close to Chandigarh City. This district was created out of parts of Ropar & Patiala districts during 1966 reorganization act when it became separate administrative unit called ‘Fatehgarh Sahib’. Attractions here include Gurdwaras like Fatehabad sahib & Sirsa sahib along with various monuments associated with Sikh history such as Shaheedan da chabutra & Bhangani dhaba memorial at village Khizrabad .

Ludhiana: Business Capital of Punjab

The district of Ludhiana in Punjab is a vibrant and bustling area. It has been an important trading center since the 16th century, with many businesses taking advantage of its strategic location near major cities such as Delhi and Chandigarh. Today, it remains one of India’s most prosperous districts due to its strong industrial base and agricultural production. Jalandhar

Jalandhar is a district in the state of Punjab, India. It is located about 144 km northwest of Chandigarh and has an area of 3,401 square kilometres. The city was founded by Raja Jalandhar who named it after himself. It is known for its rich cultural heritage and religious sites such as Devi Talab Mandir, Gurdwara Chhevin Patshahi, Gurudwara Charan Kamal Sahib and many more. Patiala: The Royal City of Punjab

The district of Patiala in the state of Punjab is known for its rich culture and heritage. It has a long history, dating back to the 17th century when it was founded by Baba Ala Singh. This area is home to many historical monuments such as Qila Mubarak, Sheesh Mahal and Moti Bagh Palace, Punjabi University Paitala.
